Drops of water open portals to memory in this immersive, mysterious new work from MIFF alum Allison Chhorn.

Cambodian-Australian filmmaker Allison Chhorn (The Plastic House, MIFF 2020) returns with a gorgeous evocation of daily life along the Mekong River – comprised of fragments of archival footage recreated on super-8 film stock – in this work that captures the fluidity of time and the fragility of light, caressed by an ethereal, dreamlike sound design.
