Stunning, expressionist oil-painted visuals express how it feels to carry emotions so heavy they take on a life of their own.

A woman manifests the emotional burden she carries as a strange creature that burrows into her body, distorting her own sense of self. Through remembered adolescent encounters with her sister, she confronts her guilt-gremlin in order to understand and free herself. Boldly experimenting with how to depict interiority, this film’s astonishingly fluid oil-painted brushstrokes swirl and pulse with inner life.
