Stunning European landscapes converge in this hypnotic homage to three-strip Technicolor.

Running the same 16mm film through her camera three times, Vienna-based visual artist Viktoria Schmid captures images of Spain, a Baltic Sea resort in Lithuania and a forest in Austria via red, green and blue filters in a vivid approximation of the old three-strip Technicolor process. What emerges is a meditation on the natural world as a dance of light and shadow.
