Sin título (Carta para Serra)
Returning to the landscape of La libertad, Lisandro Alonso’s camera floats through an environment alive with hunters, dogs and monologued mythology.
Made as part of an exchange with fellow cine-renegade Albert Serra (Pacifiction, MIFF 2022) in which the directors meditated on their past works, Alonso’s “untitled letter” resists interpretation, its perspective-shifting portrait of place restless and mercurial.
