Sound That Summons
Sonido que Convoca

In this dreamy, meditative slice of sensory immersion, a young sound recordist captures the world around him on returning to his hometown.
Award-winning cinematographer and filmmaker Petra Leslie (Sunset Country, MIFF 2021) directs this visually striking work shot in Patagonia as part of a Playlab Films workshop run by filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino. With an immersive sound design that places us directly in the world of the protagonist, this luminous, reflective film summons a vivid sense of place.
