Crash of the Titans

Africa is the continent that saw the birth of humanity. It has also been ruled in equal measure by an animal of gargantuan proportions. An animal that is now losing the battle to live in the very land it helped create. And if the elephant goes, Africa will never be the same again. A resident of Africa for at least 750,000 years, the elephant is a survivor of the Age of the Megafauna, when similar giants fought and trumpeted across nearly every continent on Earth. But now the elephant is in real danger of becoming extinct in the wild.
