A compilation of outrageous, inventive short films from seven of Japan's hottest filmmakers. Wildly diverse in subject, genre, systems of photography and filmmaking technique, Jam Films explodes onto the screen and doesn't let up for 109 minutes.

Each director was allowed a level of creative freedom to showcase their artistic passion in a condensed form, enlisting the help of a cast from various areas of the Japanese entertainment industry including Takao Osawa (All about Lily Chou-Chou, MIFF 2002), Ryoko Hirosue and Kanae Uotani.

The seven films are: The Messenger— Requiem for the Lost Souk by Ryuhei Kitamura; Kendama by Tetsuo Shmohara: Coldsleep by George lida; Pandora— Hong Kong Leg by Rokuro Mochizuki; Hijiki by Yukihiko Tsutsumi; Justice by Isao Yukisada; Arita by Shunji Iwai (All about Lily Chou-Chou, MIFF 2002).
