I Remember

In his book, Joe Brainard recounts his life through a series of dairy-like entries, each beginning with the words "I remember". This engrossing short film is a visual summary of some of the entries from Brainard's book, a meandering journey through one man's memories. Gaining power and poetry through the mantra-like repetition of phrase the film is funny, warm, and hypnotic. Gorgeous yet unobtrusive music and cinematography contribute greatly to this wonderful film.
