"A wildly creative, thrilling, unforgettable, heartbreaking work of a singular, visionary filmmaker. The Infinite Man is infinitely brilliant." – The Playlist

One of the big hits at SXSW Film Festival, where it sold out multiple screenings and collected much acclaim, The Infinite Man is a time travel rom-com done right.

Obsessive, neurotic Dean, played with nuance and verve by Josh McConville (Tim Winton's The Turning, MIFF 2013), is desperate to rekindle the romance with his girlfriend Lana (Packed to the Rafters' Hannah Marshall), and has planned a romantic weekend away. But when Lana's ex (Alex Dimitriades, The Slap, MIFF 2011) shows up seeking to win her back, things go awry. So Dean does what any heartbroken lover would do: he invents time travel!

Out of this oft-dreamed-of premise, first-time feature director (and MIFF Accelerator alumnus) Hugh Sullivan (Family Man, MIFF Shorts 2008) weaves a fresh, funny and increasingly mind-bending series of overlapping, paradoxical timelines that somehow manage to feel perfectly logical. Throughout it all, The Infinite Man remains an engagingly sweet, smart piece of storytelling.

"Indie time travel mayhem at its best … the kind of movie you are going to want to watch time and time again. And time again... And time again... And time again..." – Twitch
