Step into the shoes of Lou, a child on the autism spectrum who’s learning how to cope with an overwhelming world. Across two chapters and time periods – one when Lou, as a child, is at a friend’s birthday party, and another on the first day of high school – audiences are invited to experience Lou’s individual needs, challenges and frustrations.

Based on the real-life stories of autistic people and inspired by French Canadian directors Martine Asselin and Annick Daigneault’s own children, this interactive animation is highly moving, empathetic and insightful. With its gorgeous visuals and immersive sound design, Lou celebrates the uniqueness of neurodivergent perspectives.
