Satyaiit Ray, renowned film maker and author of children's books, has assisted his son, Sandip Ray, in his first venture into
film directing a crisp and delightful thriller for children.

Bablu, a 12-year-old boy from a wealthy family is kidnapped by a gang of criminals, but manages to escape after a car accident in which he loses his memory. A kind migrant
juggler takes care of him, and for some time Bablu shares the life of a simple man, working as a waiter in a tea shop, assisting the juggler with his acts, until he is recognised by the
gang leader, and the final chase begins.

Nicely photographed by Roy. Satyajit Ray's cameraman, and supported by a melodious and pleasant score, the tale unfolds
at an even pace and makes good viewing for both adults and children.
