Laura, a young woman with aspirations of becoming Miss Baja California, gets caught up in a vicious nightclub attack on the eve of the competition. Over three terrifying days her fate becomes inexorably linked to that of the local drug lord and every move she makes leads her both closer to her dream and deeper into danger.

Set in Mexico's border city of Baja, this heart-pumping depiction of the everyday violence of drug crime is loosely based on the incredible story of a former Miss Hispanic America.
