However, Adolph gradually moves beyond the conmen's bragging to tease out a fascinating profile of a conman's outlook on the world, providing insight into the ways they justify their actions to themselves. Also interviewed are some of the victims of the scams, offering a sobering reminder of the human wreckage these silver-tongued men have left in their wake.
