Go Slow on the Bright Line

An amusing and somewhat extreme example of the use of time-lapse photographic techniques, it completes the one-hour railway journey from London to Brighton in less than four minutes. Photographed at two frames per second from the traindriver's cabin, every foot of the rail track is seen on the screen. The effective speed attained on this rather unusual train journey averages 800 miles per hour.
