This is the third feature film from Danish director, Hans Kristensen, following his earlier films. The Escape and Per. Per, a small-time hoodlum, reappears in this film, trying to make a respectable existence for himself. He has moved in with a single mother who lives next door to two off-beat characters, Jesper and his blind friend, Holger.
Jesper looks after Holger, even to the extent of taking him to the cinema and explaining the action aloud to him, to the annoyance of other patrons. They live in an old apartment building, and Jesper discovers that it has been acquired by an insurance company to be demolished. He works out elaborate schemes to prevent the demolition going ahead, at first involving Per and his criminal friends.
He forges an application form for Per, who is made security guard for the firm. But it becomes clear that an individual cannot hope to take on a big corporation and win ...
