Filmmaker Sue Marcoux and her identical twin sister Michele live 3,000 miles apart, don't have rhyming names, never dress alike and have a history of conflict. After not speaking to each other for a year, Sue invites Michele to a twins convention in Twinsburg, Ohio, where every year over 2,500 identicallly dressed sets of twins converge on a small American town. Through encounters with other twins, the self-involved and somewhat morbid Sue and the outgoing, personable Michele are drawn into the strange and brightly optimistic world of Twins Days. The film delightfully chronicles their continuing struggle to balance the intimacy of their childhood with inevitable seperation in adulthood.
