"Have you ever thought you knew someone, really knew someone. Then one day you realise. He's mad!'

Anton and Minty is a remarkable comedy about a couple of mad South Londoners that stamps Alnoor Dewshi as a unique and singular voice in the next generation of British filmmakers. Anton ("I am a man with a ladder") lives with Minty. She likes tea and roll-your-own cigarettes and taking enough pills to fall into a coma. Anton likes to cook. He takes his ladder everywhere, even to Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park. People seem to understand him there. Then it ends. (SC)
