Everybody's Pregnant

A whacky, animated account of the trials and tribulations of medically assisted conception. Debra Solomon does just about everything here from the design to the lyrics of the song that is as amusing as it is informative: "Next comes the ultrasound. You drink and drink until you drown." Although presented in a light, whimsical graphic style the images are often bizarre. They are a perfect match for Solomon's steely observations of submitting to the medical process. Not only does she and her partner become machines but they also have to finance her doctor's travel plans.
