Local Dive

On a summer day in country Australia two girls escape the heat al a local swimming pool. As the boys show off at the diving boards, the girls overcome their self consciousness by immersing themselves in fantasy worlds; one underwater amongst sea creatures and the other in the air. Sarah Watts' painterly style encapsulates the intense colours and stark light and shade under the Australian sun that you almost feel the heat and the relief from it under the cool blue waters.
