By means of microphotography it is possible for a camera to track through the intricate passages of the human body, an active chemical factory tooled with organs which can be opened up and explored. X-ray photography can record the complexities of the brain, the pituitary gland, the structure of the ear. Crevices, caverns, colours. . . . This is both an impressive docu­mentary and a scientific record.
