THE GLEANERS AND I: TWO YEARS LATER

Even if you haven't seen The Gleaners and I, no matter, as this new film begins with a brief overview of the original. Filmed between October 2001 and June 2002, this wonderful new film from Agnes Varda is fascinating viewing. With her trusty digital camera, Varda documents the events that transpired after The Gleaners and I became a world-wide Festival favourite. Not only does she revisit a number of people profiled in that film, but she visits people who were delighted by the film and expressed their appreciation by writing to Varda.
