[Filmmaker] Bujalski is both a neo-hipster Woody Allen and a Rohmer-like romantic.” - Cinema Scope

Twin sisters in Austin, Texas, fumble their way through the vicissitudes of modern life and relationships in this latest mumblecore gem from writer/director Andrew Bujalski (Funny Ha Ha; Mutual Appreciation, MIFF 2006).

Wheelchair-bound Jeannie runs a vintage clothing store, and is becoming increasingly anxious that her business partner is getting ready to sue her. Meanwhile her twin Lauren flits from one guy to the next without aim or purpose. Absorbed in their individual crises, the nuances of the twins' relationship colour their every moment.

Real-life twin sisters Tilly and Maggie Hatcher join a cast of non-professional actors - including many notables from the local Austin filmmaking scene - in a quirky reflection on the awkwardness of modern relationships.
