Calabrians in the outer suburbs of Melbourne slaughter a pig to make food for the winter.

This groundbreaking, now gloriously restored 1980 documentary, which was awarded a Diploma of Merit at MIFF in 1980, follows a group of Italian families performing the traditional provincial way of preparing a pig for various deli goods – a tradition that is threatened by local Australian food-processing laws.
