Larry is a perpetual man-child, unable to hold down a job due to his poor behaviour. Fired from a restaurant, he applies for work at a car-servicing shop purely because he has a crush on the manager, Lupe. Waiting to inherit his grandmother's fortune, Larry is content to spend his time driving around Austin with his sleepy French bulldog Arrow.
Bob Byington (Somebody Up There Likes Me, MIFF 2013) directs this philosophical tale of misanthropy with Jason Schwartzman starring as the Texan slacker, alongside Olympia Dukakis, Stephen Root, Alex Karpovsky, TV On The Radio's Tunde Adebimpe and Schwartzman's own dog Arrow as himself.
