Mysterious Geographic Explorations Of Jasper Morello, The

Australia (MIFF 2005, animation)

Director: Anthony Lucas

Set in a world of iron airships and steam-powered computers, this Gothic horror mystery tells the story of Jasper Morello, a disgraced aerial navigator who flees his plague-ridden home on a voyage to redeem himself. But in this stunning animation by Melbourne's Anthony Lucas, Morello discovers that the greatest horror of all lies within man himself. Lucas was awarded the Annecy Cristal in 2005.
