Balloonantics

USA, 1923 (MIFF 1956, Pot-pourri)

Director: Buster Keaton, Eddie Cline

In addition to producing such feature length films as The General and The Navigator, Buster Keaton produced a number of shorter films of fine quality of which Balloon antics is an excellent example. Notable points about this film include the wonderful use of natural scenery, the high degree of inventiveness and the charm of Keaton's dead &ndash: pan humour.
