Angry Kid (Selected Highlights from Series I & II)

UK, 2001 (MIFF 2002, Animation)

Director: Darren Walsh

Angry Kid is Aardman's new kid on the block. Dressed in regulation 70s parka, Angry Kid's constant pushing at boundaries and in-your-face bravado leads him into a series of embarrassing and potentially lethal situations, which he soon realises he is ill-equipped to deal with. Employing a novel animation technique based on a combination of pixillation and model animation Angry Kid is guaranteed to evoke uncomfortable memories of adolescence. These highlight packages include such classic titles as Stinky, Sex Education, Car Sick and Blood Juice.
