Tran the Man

Ray Moss has been nicknamed Tran by the Asian shopkeepers in his job as a security guard at a shopping centre in suburban Cabramatta. For Ray/Tran, the heat is on. His brother and uncle have had their heroin business undercut by Asian-controlled competition and they want Ray as their go-between. Film and video are mixed in this highly-strung drama, and fast jump-cutting coverage plays on dark psychic imprints left with us by 'reality' television and eye-witness video events such as the Rodney King bashing.
