A dark, surrealist comedy about a teenager craving recognition, a worker who’ll do anything to win the jackpot and a senior executive at the end of his career.

The self-defeating desperation of our times runs deep in this brilliantly grotesque comedy, which won the Special Jury Prize of Clermont-Ferrand’s National Competition. French filmmaker Zoel Aeschbacher, whose film Bonobo won Best Fiction Short Film at MIFF 2018, explodes the cruel competitiveness of capitalism with a tale of three hapless characters and the lengths they’ll go to for the win.
