Elefanti (1989)

Canada (MIFF 1990 , Documentary)

During the Second World War Canadians of Italian extraction were interned as "aliens" in their own land. Elefanti, through the use of archival material and interviews, examines the effects of this internment on one man's life and uses the elephant as a metaphor for the resilience of the human spirit.
