Short History

Director Ion Popescu Gopo / 1957 / Romania

In the beginning, there was the Sun, handsome with features composes of the present planets. The Sun's nose was the Earth which, being wet, gave the sun a cold. A cataclysmic sneeze - and all the features were scattered into space. On the Earth life appeared. One prehistoric day, a brontosaurus chased a butterfly and so shook a tree that dislodged a monkey on it. The monkey fell on the ground, lost its tail, flattened its face and got up to walk again - as man.
