Membership FAQs

Concession refers to Seniors Card, Healthcare Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Carer Card, and full-time students. Proof of concession is required on application.

Look in the top right corner of the MIFF website for the person icon, and click to log-in.

To get a replacement card simply send an email to membership(at)miff.com.au or call the Membership Coordinator on 03 8660 4818. A card replacement fee of $8 may be charged for lost cards.

MIFF Members are entitled to discounts at various Melbourne CBD locations through Secure Parking at the following carparks*:

  • 12-20 Flinders Lane
  • 300 Flinders St
  • 392 Bourke St
  • 460 Lonsdale St
  • Southern Cross Car Park, 121 Exhibition St (entry via 129 Bourke St)
  • The Mint Car Park, 383 Latrobe St
  • The Strand Car Park, 250 Elizabeth St (entry via 323 Lonsdale St)

*A booking fee of $1 applies per transaction. You will receive your discount code in the confirmation email and letter upon purchase of your membership. 

Your MIFF Membership card will be posted to you within 10 business days. To ensure the card reaches you, please update your postal details in your MIFF account. In the month leading up to the festival, your MIFF Membership card will be available for collection from the MIFF Box Office at ACMI. Keep an eye on the website, your inbox and our social media channels for key dates and information on MIFF 2026.

  • Log in to your MIFF account on your phone: https://tix.miff.com.au/Account/Login
  • Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see the My Account dashboard
  • Below your name, you’ll see your Membership type and Member number – next to this, there’s a small blue button that says View / Wallet
  • Click on View / Wallet and it will display your digital Member card – from here, click Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet

If you’ve recently renewed or joined as a Member, you can access your digital Member card from the email receipt you will have received upon joining.

Please note that digital Member cards are not currently available in the MIFF app.

One of the key benefits of being a MIFF Member is having access to the exclusive pre-sale window before general-public tickets go on sale. Only Members can book tickets during the pre-sale window, the dates for which will be announced closer to the festival. Keep an eye on the website, your inbox and our social media channels for key dates and information on MIFF 2026.

First, log into your account on the MIFF website, then you will see the My Account screen. From the dashboard you can see your current membership expiry date, booking history and pass information.
