MIFF is currently recruiting a Festival Access Coordinator for the 74th edition of the Melbourne International Film Festival, 6–23 August 2026. Based in the Melbourne CBD, MIFF runs for 18 days with an extensive and prestigious program of contemporary world cinema, Australian film, red-carpet moments and unique MIFF experiences attracting audiences of more than 150,000.

The MIFF Festival Access Coordinator role (read full position description) is a key role within the Operations team and is responsible for the in-festival administration of MIFF’s Access and Inclusion program, providing on-the-ground support throughout the festival delivery period to ensure a seamless experience for staff, volunteers, guests and ticketholders who are d/Deaf or disabled. This role requires availability from July–August 2026.

Based in the Melbourne CBD, MIFF runs for 18 days with an extensive and prestigious program of contemporary world cinema, Australian film, red-carpet moments and unique MIFF experiences attracting audiences of more than 150,000.

The MIFF Box Office Attendant role (read full position description) works closely with the Systems & Ticketing team to oversee all ticketing enquiries, donations and sales across festival locations. Providing frontline assistance to MIFF patrons and customers, you will collaborate with Front of House teams to deliver premium experiences, ensuring accurate information is provided regarding MIFF events and operations. As part of the role, you must be available over the pre-festival period for training and to assist with phone and email enquiries at our ACMI location. Please note, you may be the sole Box Office attendant at some festival locations.
