When the girlfriend of sex-obsessed graphic designer Charles Swan walks out on him, he suffers an anxiety attack that kicks off a surreal journey into his own mind. From cult filmmaker Roman Coppola (director of CQ and co-writer of Moonrise Kingdom, MIFF 2012) comes this 1970s-set comic exploration of a self-absorbed, larger-than-life character that recalls the styles of his frequent collaborators such as Wes Anderson, Sofia Coppola and Spike Jonze. The touted comeback film of Charlie Sheen, it co-stars Bill Murray, Patricia Arquette, Jason Schwartzman, Aubrey Plaza and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
