But when Simo takes over Emad’s livestream one night, the new viewers aren’t there just for his gaming prowess – and the siblings’ intensifying competition might actually put their immigrant family in peril. Featuring an all-Egyptian cast, with riveting performances from leads Basel and Seif El Rayes, director Aziz Zoromba’s latest short is a slick, fast-paced and affecting study of adolescent masculinity, fraternal feuds and resilience.
