Thirty-three years of lies and deception threaten to unravel as three ex-Mossad agents find themselves unwittingly recalled to duty.

In 1964 three Mossad agents led by Rachel (powerhouse Israeli actress Gila Almagor) capture the ‘Surgeon of Birkenau', an infamous Nazi war criminal responsible for carrying out unspeakable acts during the Holocaust. While they are returning to Israel the Surgeon escapes, leaving the agents to concoct a story of his death and return as national heroes.
But when the Surgeon resurfaces in 1997 the agents, now in their sixties, find themselves forced to complete their mission to protect themselves and their lies.
"It deals with fear. Fear of the darkness in the human soul, fear of our common weaknesses and of the lies we create to hide them, and a fear of the day when they will be exposed." - filmmaker Assaf Bernstein
