Director Anne Dastrée / 1967 / France

During a routine day in the life of an adolescent girl, the film explores the changes wrought in her by puberty. We see her at school, on the streets, al home; we witness her conflicts with adults, watch her in the solitude of her room.

Her confusion, her first infatuation, her revolts and continued tenderness towards those around her, are expressed in her painful inner monologues during her slow metamorphosis from child into woman.

Critics' Prize, Oberhausen Festival.
