Sexuality and teenage pregnancy, as seen through the eyes of 11-year-old Karen and her 16-year-old sister, Michelle, who thinks she is pregnant. In the course of the film everyone begins to learn how to communicate about sexuality and how to act responsibly on sexual issues.
