ON N'EST PAS DES ANGES
To love and to be loved is a need we all share. On N'est Pas Des Anges is a film about love and how we express it, about desire, frustration and fulfilment.
In this film, men and women who are physically handicapped speak of their personal experiences and feelings. They remind us that a physical handicap does not affect the heart's capacity to share love, tenderness and respect. These men and women speak openly about their sex lives and physical adjustments they have had to make. They make it clear, however, that their emotional feelings and responses are in no way handicapped.
By expanding our awareness of the lives of physically handicapped people, On N'est Pas Des Anges prompts us to question conventional attitudes toward the expression of love and sex. The real barriers are not those of the body, but of the mind.
