Workers' Films of the Thirties
Workers' Films of the Thirties is an independent film, made from the extant films and documents in the British Film and Photo League Archive.
The compilation of silent films, with added voice-over and contemporary music, is in two 20-minute parts. Part One deals with the origins of the Film and Photo League within the Kino production group (1933-34) and the production output of these two groups. Part Two deals with the Film and Photo League as a self-financing group of progressive filmmakers (1935-39).
