Wes and Cyril are smooth operators ... a master criminal and his side-kick....they are common living on their collective wits. They travel the rural byways in some sort of Laurel and Hardy picaresque adventure, living out of the back of the car. They have a scheme of placing bets with a bookie after a race has been run...They also need a stooge and find Donald, a local lad, with all the local lusts...The resulting saga of intrigue and murder develops over a long Anzac weekend.
