SHERMAN'S MARCH
Subtitled "A meditation on the possibility of romantic love in the South during an era of nuclear weapons proliferation also a comedy". A cinema verite style road movie in which the filmmaker attempts to retrace the route taken through the South by General Sherman during the Civil War.
Along the way the audience is treated to a series of charming and seemingly irrelevant vignettes of southern culture including mountain survivalists, Bible Bashers and Burt Reynolds!
Following his sister's advice, the filmmaker finds that his cinematic venture comes in mighty handy for meeting up with the womenfolk.
