Margaret and Willie, the central characters in this documentary, are spastics who live in a residential home run by The Spastics Society. They express their need to be treated as people with a contribution to make: they want to work, marry. care for each other. What they say about their need for emotional and sexual fulfilment, applies equally to people handicapped in other ways.
