STATION 10
Made from some sixty days and nights of filming of routine police work in Montreal, Station 10 is a view of life in the inner city that few ordinary citizens are likely to see in any other way. It is a portrait of police and of the people whose predicaments often require police help.
Here the policeman appears not only as society's brake on criminal activity, but also as preventer of crime, as marriage counsellor, as peacemaker, as the friendly arm, supporting those weakened by age, infirmity, strong drink and, nowadays, drugs.
