Director Edwin James Lynch / 1988 / Australia

A black and white portrait of a disturbed young man who lives with his mute sister and wakes one morning to eat porridge and go on an incredible journey. This film won eight awards in the third Western Australian Video and Film Festival. It is the director's first 16mm endeavour and it demonstrates a studied use of black and white photography as the means for creating the weird world of its major character. -(TC)
