Shadow Panic

Director Margot Nash / 1989 / Australia

Three women, all strangers, synchronistically move through their separate, yet interconnected worlds. They introduce each other via the gaze of the last character and a relay of images is created without haste or pretence. Shadow Panic is a confidently paced experimental short with no central plot or character. Using a calm visual styte it reflects on states of panic in the desire caused by private and nuclear shadows. - (TC)
