Agurra
Having left Franco's Spain many years prior Elias, now returns to meet what remains of his family and to confront the present day reality of his long guarded and cherished memories. Correspondence with his grandson, Eneko, a dancer, has nurtured the nostalgia he carries for the place of his childhood. Eneko has promised to perform the agurra for him upon his return, a dance which is inspired by the person to whom it is dedicated.
Bathed in golden colour, Agurra is a rhythmic short about the lengths someone will go to in order to maintain the objects of their desire and carefully constructed myths.
