REFRAMING THE IMAGE: FOUND FOOTAGE FILMMAKING
The intersection between found-footage filmmaking and the avant-garde long pre-dates sound sampling, with its roots stretching back to the work of Joseph Cornell. In this lecture, Eve Heller will explore the process of working within this sphere and illustrate ways to critically redefine the 'image' through the use of optical printing and hand processing.
