"One of 2013's most thrillingly virtuoso filmmaking achievements." – Hollywood Reporter

The closing night film of the 2013 Cannes Critics' Week is actually three films in one: a triptych exploring 3D and its evolution in the world of cinema, with one film each from Peter Greenaway, Jean-Luc Godard and Edgar Pêra. Commissioned by the Portuguese city Guimarães, the EU's Capital of Culture in 2012, the three films ask questions about how 3D affects the audience's perception of, and interaction with, the images in front of them.

Britain's Greenaway kicks off with a hyper-textual exploration of Guimarães' atmosphere and history in Just in Time, followed by French New Wave deity Godard's The Three Disasters, an investigation into the future of film that also, being a Godard film, looks into its thorny past and right into the soul of the filmmaker himself. Portugal's Pêra finishes with Cinesapians, his hyperkinetic, stylised take on the division between realism and fantasy.
