Afterimage For Tomorrow
Welcome to a future where our memories can be recorded and stored for playback.
You can choose up to three significant memories to preserve, each of which – when replayed – will last the life of a lit match. But memories are notoriously unreliable. How do you know whether you’re experiencing a memory, a hallucination or virtual reality?
Collaborating with choreographer Chou Shou-yi, director Singing Chen has crafted a dynamic VR experience that asks us to question our own reflections of self, and to ponder the power of our memories. Full of movement and haunting imagery, Afterimage for Tomorrow is a unique VR performance piece.
Users should be aware that in rare cases participation in these experiences and using this technology may involve some risks, including (but not limited to): nausea, dizziness, disorientation, visual abnormalities, injury or other discomfort.
